Campus Security and Safety

If you are ever in a situation where you don’t feel safe, we encourage you to make use of the many Campus Security services available. Get in touch with a DPS (Department of Public Safety) Officer and/or ask for a Safety Escort (available at night) by using the Manoa Guardian app. Other services include campus-wide Emergency Call Boxes and the UH Alert Emergency Notification System which sends text messages to your phone during emergency situations. To report a crime go to the DPS “Reporting a Crime” page. Additionally, Title IX is a federal civil rights law that prohibits discrimination on the basis of sex in federally funded education programs and activities.
