Purview of this unit includes:

• Providing publication services to faculty so that knowledge generated in the College can be made available to its clients and the public.
  
  
• Providing guidelines to faculty for self-prepared publication materials.
  
  
• Coordinating the design, production, dissemination, and sale of published materials.
  
  
• Maintaining an on-going, mutually beneficial relationship with the UH Manoa Relations office.
  
  
• Coordinating legislative affairs for the Dean and the College.
  
  
• Managing media and public relations for the College.
  
  
• Producing College promotional literature.
  
  
• Promoting and maintaining the College's identity.
  
  
• Developing and promulgating protocol on interfacing with public and the media.
  
  
• Developing and promulgating event planning protocol.
  
  
• Developing and updating College directories and College handbook.
  
  
• Coordinating information dispersal.
  
  
• Producing general College publications (Ko Ka Aina newsletter, annual impact report, Christmas card, College calendar, College notecards, College portfolio).
  
  
• Developing College displays and providing advice on display/exhibit design.
