ADAP Management Team

The management team is under the overall guidance of the ADAP Directors.  ADAP Coordinators work under the supervision of their own Directors, and the Project Manager is responsible to the Chairman of the ADAP Directors. The Project Manager supervises home office staff, and provides leadership to the entire management team.  The Management Team will:

bullet

Maintain a fiscal accounting system consistent with the needs of participating institutions, Research Corporation of the University of Hawai'i, and US Department of Agriculture;

bullet

Coordinate and maintain the computerized communication network;

bullet

Assist Principal Investigators (PIs), Cooperators, and Directors, as needed, with procurement of equipment and personnel, travel, communication, program planning, and organization;

bullet

With the Directors, develop and implement protocols for administering, tracking and reporting funds used for activities at each institution;

bullet

Coordinate/facilitate staff development activities;

bullet

Promote the development of linkages between individuals and institutions involved with ADAP, and others in the Pacific region;

bullet

Participate in meetings of Directors, PIS, planning committees or others, as appropriate, to facilitate their ADAP activities;

bullet

Prepare fiscal and other reports as needed and disseminate information to Directors and those involved/interested in ADAP activities on- and off-campus;

bullet

Compile reports of activities and other information from PIs/Cooperators so that project-wide reports can be prepared for USDA, ADAP Directors and others;

bullet

Report to the ADAP Directors.
