For the Primus Labs food audit, you must have a Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS) for each of the chemicals that you have on your farm.  MSDS sheets contain important information about how to safely handle, store, or dispose of a chemical.  The MSDS sheet should be consulted in the event of an accidental spill or for the proper safety equipment needed when handling the chemical.

The MSDS sheets are available online from the product manufacturer, or frequently, from the vendor at the time of purchase.  You will need to print off an MSDS for each chemical and keep them in a binder that can be accessed by your employees in case of a spill, or accident.

For an online database of the most common chemicals, please go to www.msds.com
