By making a commitment to farm food safety, you are making a promise to your employees, your clients, and your community to grow safe produce.

  1. START HERE:  A Check list of requirements for the first coaching session

  3. Keep stray animals away from your production areas following these guidelines.

  4. Review and print the necessary signage to pass your farm food safety audit by following the link to our On-Farm Food Safety Signs

  5. Remove trash and debris from your farm.  If you have trouble with people illegally dumping trash on your property, please call the authorities.  For more information, check out:  http://www.opala.org/solid_waste/Stop_Illegal_Dumping.html

  6. In order to facilitate the development of a farm-wide food safety plan, you may consider requesting an aerial imagery to farm operators.  This information may be available at your local Farm Services Agency office.  There may be a charge for this service.  Call your FSA for more information:
