National
4-H CongressNational 4-H Congress participation is one of the highest
achievements of recognition that a 4-H member may obtain. It is conducted annually
by the National 4-H Council and the Cooperative Extension Services of each state
and USDA.

It is carried out with
thesupport of award donors and other cooperators. National 4-H Congress is keyed
to the interest of those 4-H delegates who have achieved high standards of excellence
in their 4-H project work. Congress provides new and stimulating educational and
cultural experiences which contribute to personal growth and leadership-citizenship
development. It focuses on public attention on outstanding 4-H members, 4-H values
and provides a forum for interaction and exchange of ideas. Congress is
held in late fall, usually starting on Thanksgiving weekend. Visit the National
