Storybook Aprons

Reading With A Storybook Apron:
The teen reader selects a story of his or her choice. The teen then creates his/her own storybook apron by attaching felt, fabric, foam, or any material he/she chooses to a plain canvas apron supplied by the Read To Me project. The teen then practices reading the story with his/her apron several times until he/she is ready to read to the children.
