Mobile Tech Lab

The Mobile Technology Lab is outfitted with 10 laptops, video and still cameras, networking components, printers, headsets, and other peripherals, allowing children of deployed parents to communicate with the servicemen and women overseas. These basic services can be utilized at Family Readiness Group meetings, special events, and within small organized group meetings.

Beyond these basic components, the lab is also open for one-time or ongoing workshops on digital photography, presentation creation, video editing, word-processing, music editing, flyer and business document creation, hardware repair and upgrading, and software maintenance. This lab is meant to give kids the opportunity to use systems and programs they may not have access to, that are used commonly for presentations, website design, school papers, digital imaging, and everyday activities.
