The Hawaii OMK team is in the process of implementing state specific social, recreational, and educational programs that address the needs of military youth who are experiencing deployments.  These programs may include single or multi-day and weekend camps, retreats, lock-ins or recreational programs.

Information for 2008-2009 OMK educational programs will be posted soon.

Educational programs from previous years:
On Kauai, the Hui Lanakila 4-H Horse Club provided National Guard youth a fun day activity
which included games, a petting zoo & pony rides.

The Spunky Bunch 4-H club also hosted National Guard youngsters at a special OMK camp at Koke'e
from July 22-24 2005.

The Kauai 4-H Federation held an OMK day at the Kauai County Fair & publicly acknowledged the children of deployed soldiers for their sacrifices.
