Atsugi is the first Japan Navy site to organize a 4-H club.  Under the direction of Mr. Ted Roberts, and assisted by Maria Cole, the 4-H Theatre club put on their first production on April 24, 2009.

The club acquired costumes from their local second hand shop.  Luckily for them, the manager of the shop is the mother of one of their club members and she donated the costumes to the club!

Club members also made accessories such as hats, magic wands and Tin Man plating from construction paper and paint.  They also painted a large mural for a scenery backdrop using water paints and butcher paper.

Atsugi 4-H Drama Club proudly presented "Somewhere Over the Rainbow."
