The Livestock Program is the largest 4H project on Molokai. It is also the oldest program, and was once the ONLY project done on Molokai. In the previous years there were four livestock clubs along with sewing and textile clubs, a woodwork club and an agriculture club. These clubs slowly fell apart due to the youth growing up and turning more towards sports and other interest programs. Because of the low numbers, leaders decided to combine all interested youth into one island wide club. In the year 2000 the club members decided on a name for the new and improved club.
